Al Raffah Hospital inaugurates paediatric centre in Muscat

As Al Raffah's express motto is "Caring for life, caring for you", Ms. Shukoor wished the hospital all success with their Paediatric facility.

"Not only should the child's physical needs be looked after, but their emotional and social needs as well. What children need is Tender Loving Care," said Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman of Al Raffah Hospital.

Dr. Suri, the Head of the Department expressed his happiness at having realized his dream of a Centre for Paediatric Excellence, where a child's every need would be looked after, from ENT to eye check-ups under one roof. Parents would not have to run from pillar to post searching for separate treatments as Al Raffah would ensure all medical assistance would be provided at the Centre.

"I love the play area in the department " said little Minal Diwakaran, who wanted to keep coming to the Hospital to visit the colourful, bright Paediatric Centre. The staff are very kind and helpful and always smiling," added her mother Nandita.

Ms. Shukoor had the last word, "The best people when children are young are the paediatricians," she ended with a smile.
