Rezidor announces appointment of new General Manager at Radisson Blu Resort, Taba

The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the fastest growing hotel management companies worldwide, has announced the appointment of Patrick Camelia as the new General Manager of the Radisson Blu Resort, Taba in Egypt.

Camelia, who is Belgian-Italian; has a solid background in the hospitality industry with a strong focus on food & beverage. After gaining experience having worked in different restaurants in Belgium, he gained international experience in Morocco and Egypt working as Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Manager for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

In 2008, Camelia joined Rezidor as Executive Assistant Manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek in UAE, his most recent position. In his new role, his first as a General Manager; Camelia takes charge of the stunning 5* beach resort, located on the Red Sea.

Speaking of the appointment, Marko Hytonen, Area Vice President, Rezidor Hotel Group said, "Patrick is a fantastic addition to the team at the Radisson Blu Resort. His solid experience and his strong F&B background will serve him well in his first position as General Manager.
