"Automated trading strategies are among the most sophisticated and profitable trading strategies, as they allow for precise quantitative position entry and exit triggers, while taking out the emotional attachment some traders struggle with when trading large ticket positions. This allows for a more disciplined trading approach, which is a key factor in successful high frequency trading,"

says Ilja Perschbacher, Managing Director of Varengold Bank Dubai.

The seminar will be taught by Mr. Fadi Abouras and will focus on the mechanics of creating basic strategies using the Expert Advisor's built in language and how to then go on to create custom indicators.

Using real strategies as examples, Mr. Abouras will explain how to use the Expert Advisor language to establish automated stop losses and take profit points for each trade.

In addition, participants will learn to speed up the strategy writing process by accessing and using functions from the Expert Advisor library. The Expert Advisor library is where frequently used blocks of programs are stored.

The seminar will be held at the DIFC Capital Club on 23 November 2009, doors open at 6:30 PM.
