Equip'Hotel Middle East opens with unique crystal chandelier

Hermès-Saint Louis commissioned the floor-standing chandelier especially for Equip'Hotel Middle East and this is the first time it has been presented outside of Paris.

Flown in from France by Sarya Ltd, and made of hand-cut crystal, the chandelier weighs around one ton (1,000 kg), and stands more than four and a half meters tall. Inspired by the Maharajah in India, the piece is worth more than Dhs1m.

Sarya have supplied some of the most prestigious hotels and palaces in the Middle East, including the Royal suites in Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi and La Cigale in Qatar.

Sarya, which has a store in Dubai Mall, are at Equip'Hotel, exhibiting some of Hermès' finest collections, including Hermès tableware, Saint Louis crystal and Puiforcat, the finest silverware in the world.
