Dubai Quality Group commemorates 'World Quality Day'

Dubai Quality Group's organization of this event synchronizes with its commemoration of the World Quality Day which is annually celebrated around the world in November. Many of local and global governmental and private organizations participate in the meeting, in addition to a wide audience of experts and interested in issues of quality.

DQG aims through this event to promote the concept of quality among organizations operating in the country and acquaint them with all the new and modern techniques in this field in order to enhance the quality culture and implement its standards in all areas of life individually and organizationally.

The second meeting has been decided to hold after the tremendous success of the first meeting convened by DQG early last November, which included the most prestigious international organizations working in the field of quality and organizational excellence.

This year's meeting will include many events and activities especially the 'Quality Quiz Competition' which achieved widespread success in its first year. Participants can take part in the competition individually or collectively to no more than four persons of the team. DQG made the competition open to members and non members of the group to encourage individuals from various sectors to participate in quality activities to acquire new information and practical help in the refinement of the quality culture they have.

DQG aspires for the promotion and expansion of its activities at many events to attract much audience with a view to encourage them to adopt standards of quality and excellence, and to replace the traditional practices in business, administration and services with modern and efficient ones that can save time, money and effort.

The meeting includes a panel discussion with international experts in the field of quality. Light will be also spot on the life of the quality legendary Dr. Joseph Juran through documentary film which will be presented within the activities of the forum. Dr. Juran is considered one of the main founders of the quality science, and he is the owner of the famous saying 'Quality does not occur by chance, but must be planned'.
