Emojet for Jet Fuel to have a strong presence at Dubai Air Show 2009

According to HE. Jamal Al Midfa - Emarat General Manager and Emojet's Chairman of the management committee, the Dubai Air Show has become a major attraction worldwide. It is considered to be one of the three largest of its kind in the industry. The Airshow represents the prominent position the UAE occupies on the international scene thanks to the wise guidance of HH the President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid.

HE Al Midfa said that the joint venture is considered to be one of the major jet fuel companies in the region. Since it was established in 1992, the joint venture has become a major milestone in Emarat's march towards success and has introduced Emarat to the International and regional jet fuel supply market.

Mr. Abdulrahman Qassim Al Ali, Commercial Sales Manager at Emarat, said that the Corporation has succeeded in developing its marketing capabilities through companies like Emojet and demonstrating its technical competence through its participation at the event.

He added that the Air show has also provided Emarat with an excellent opportunity to network with its clients and partners and to get acquainted with the jet fuel industry, mainly in the field of automation, programming, systems and special applications related to safety and the environment.

Mr. Al Ali pointed out that Emojet provides jet refuelling services to Emirates Airlines and many international and regional airlines operating out of Dubai International Airport. Since its inception, the size of its operations has increased significantly through the use of the latest, state-of-the-art equipment and technologies.

So far, Emojet has received seven awards from ExxonMobil, including Wings Award, Regional Airport of the Year Award in 2003 for Africa and the Middle East and again in 2008 for Europe, Africa and the Middle East in recognition of its flawless operations in refueling nearly 18500 aircrafts safely. The company also won the National Wings Awards for the years - 2001, 2004 & 2005 and the International Wings Award in 2006 and once again a National Wings Award in 2008.
