Jaidah Group continues ROTA partnership

ROTA was formed in 2005 and operates within the Qatar Foundation framework as a non-governmental organization. It reaches out to the Asian continent and around the world to provide quality educational assistance to the individuals in need.

Jaidah Group is the launching partner for ROTA's Adult English Literacy (RAEL) program in Qatar. It introduced an eight-week pilot program in July for 30 low skilled employees from Sri Lanka, Egypt and India. The program launching this month will serve 60 participants through weekly training classes lasting 30 weeks. It will help the students develop their ability to identify, understand, interpret, communicate and employ written information in their daily activities. Jaidah Group's literacy effort will address the needs of the company's Arabic and non Arabic speaking employees and run through basic and intermediate English levels.

Mr. Mohammed Jaidah, Chief Development Officer for the Group, commented on the partnership, saying,

"Jaidah Group is proud to collaborate with ROTA regarding its fundamentally important programs. Learning is a basic and essential human right for children and adults and Jaidah Group will continue to act as an enthusiastic supporter for these efforts."

Jaidah Group has been a supporter of ROTA for the previous year and will continue its assistance throughout 2010 via various initiatives including the literacy program which has been specifically designed for its low skilled staff.
