The conference will address the future of schooling, and aims to present viable, sustainable solutions that lead to a long-term quality improvement in national education. Experts will present talks and workshops on a range of subjects which will drive the educational future.
The conference is open to educational professionals, school administrators, teachers and student teachers throughout the UAE.
The Emirates Foundation's Director of Projects, Khuloud Al Nuwais commented:
"The Foundation is very glad to support such an important conference for the second year. We expect it to create a positive impact on the quality of teaching and curriculum development in UAE schools."
Al Nuwais added, "The conference will offer the latest teaching practices and expertise to teachers. The Foundation wants to ensure that as many teachers as possible can attend, so as to inspire and mentor tomorrow's leaders."
A robust lineup of speakers will present a wide range of compelling educational topics, talks and workshops in English, Arabic and French, for K-12 grade levels. In addition, there will be debates and panel discussions.
TeachME comes on the heels of its successful predecessors, the November 2007 conference 'Tools for a Backpack' and the January 2009 conference "TeachME 09". More than 500 Middle Eastern participants came from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Lebanon, Qatar, Oman and Syria.
Discussions will be held mainly in English, but also in Arabic and French, to cater to the languages and interests of all delegates.
