Al Baddad International supports Sharjah Book Fair

Al Baddad International, member of Al Baddad Global group of companies, has announced that it will be taking part in the preparation works for the Sharjah International Book Fair for the first time.

Held under the patronage of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi, Ruler of the emirate of Sharjah, the international event is organized by the Department of Cultural & Information, Government of Sharjah on November 11-21, 2009 at the Expo Center Sharjah.

Al Baddad International will construct and equip the 850-square-meter VIP Hall to the high standards of the event. Characterized by its ample height and exclusive design, the VIP Hall front side is made of insulated glass that adds to the elegance of the event. Special decorations for the event will also be installed inside the hall.

Mr. Zayed Al Baddad, Chairman of the Board and General Manager of Al Baddad International Group, said:

The Sharjah International Book Fair is considered an important factor in the scientific development process. It aims to spread awareness and nurture reading towards creating a knowledge-based community.

The fair is expected to attract more than 400,000 visitors and generate around Dhs100m in sales.
