Zouk, which has been consistently voted one of the best clubs in the world since it opened in 1991, is in the Emirates as part of a world-tour ahead of its annual ZoukOut dance music festival. The 9th annual ZoukOut festival will be held on December 12 on the beaches of Sentosa Island. Last year's edition attracted over 26,000 clubbers as they partied from dusk till dawn.

Zouk chose Dubai to host its Middle East ZoukOut Pre-Party, because of the Emirates' young music-loving party crowd, and glamorous clubbing scene epitomised by the Dubai's own superclub - Sanctuary - on the Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai.

Superstar DJ, Zouk resident djB will be headlining the pre-party event in the Sanctuary's Main Room, with warm-up DJ, Darko De Jan. Shef will be playing in the Velvet Room, while Diego Ramsi will entertain the crowd on the Terrace.

Jason Ong, Area Director, Middle East and Africa, Singapore Tourism Board, said:
"ZoukOut has cemented its place as one of the world's 'must-go' global dance festivals and attracts die-hard clubbers from all over the world. We look forward to giving UAE clubbers a taste of Zouk in the UAE."

"Last year's ZoukOut attracted over 10,000 overseas visitors and with headline acts such as Armin van Buuren - the world's most popular DJ, Techno icon Richie Hawtin and acclaimed remixer and producer Tiga performing live, we look forward to welcoming even more overseas visitors to help kick-start a high-adrenaline season of parties and celebrations all the year into 2010," he concluded.

Most Glamarous Clubber at the end of the night stands a chance to win a ZoukOut VIP Trip courtesy of Singapore Airlines, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel and Zouk.

djB'S Biogrpahy:

Pinning down Zouk's house stalwart djB's style is as easy as finding pearls in oysters. But one thing you'll find for sure is his innate ability to build a scorcher of a set with his arsenal of exhilarating and sweat-inducing gems. If you need affirmation to just how wicked he can be, check out his recent remix for Dj Yass & Abicasoul - "Yassoul" and his sensuously beat-driven techy single "Incheon" on JJK's label Reversoulmusic which is a certified sweat-inducing dance floor monster. Always one to push the house sound to a whole new level, it's no wonder he's been cited by Martin Solveig & DJ Gregory as the best house DJ in Asia at the Junction Bali press conference 2005. From Japan (Womb) to Ibiza (Pacha), Berlin (Cookies) to Miami (Opium Garden) djB's never failed to get happy House-heads wet, willing and wild to his unique blend of four on the floor sounds. Even House heavyweights like Roger Sanchez, Jay J, Feddy Le Grand, Claude Monnet & others have supported djB's productions released under international labels like Soulfulric/ Look At You/ Mapdance/ Reversoulmusic/Ssoh to euphoric effect, you know you'll be in for a wild ride with djB. With an outstanding mix on the Defected 'Zouk in the House' compilation cd in 2008, there's definitely more global success in store for djB. www.myspace.com/zoukdjB.
