Regent Hotel construction contract awarded to ACC

Designed by award-winning Austrian architect Dennis Lems, the Regent Emirates Pearl is scheduled to open in 2012 and is located opposite the Emirates Palace hotel on the Abu-Dhabi corniche, and adjacent to Etihad Towers, another project that is being constructed by ACC.

The development sits on a 10,000m2 plot comprising four podium levels + 45 floors; 377 rooms and suites; 60 furnished apartments and will stand 240m high with a total built-up-area of 130,000m2.

ACC's chairman said that the Regent Emirates Pearl contract is an exciting project for ACC to be involved with as the development is set to become a landmark of the Abu Dhabi skyline.

ACC has been operating in Abu-Dhabi since 1968 and is associated with many of the capital's landmark buildings including Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Capital Plaza, Emirates Palace Hotel, Sorouh's Gate District and Al Dar's Central Market Redevelopment. The company has completed some of the UAE's tallest developments, including the Almas Tower and Rose Rotana Tower in Dubai.
