The DTCM team was headed by Mr. Eyad Ali Abdul Rahman, Executive Director Media Relations and Business Development, while KHDA delegation was led by Mr. Abdulla Al Janahi, Manager of Education and Customer Department at KHDA.
The visit was part of the efforts of both DTCM and KHDA to enhance excellence in performance in general and customer services in particular.
Established by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, KHDA aims to develop the education and human resource sectors in the emirate, bringing it on par with international standards and prevalent best practices, while keeping in mind the requirements of the job market.
Mr. Eyad briefed the delegation about various DTCM initiatives to promote and market Dubai across the world as the leading business and leisure destination.
He also highlighted various programmes the department had conducted and planning to launch to improve its services and facilities provided to the tourism industry and tourists.
