Samsung Navigation Quest kicks off today

Samsung Electronics, a leading mobile and telecommunication equipment provider together with Navteq, the leading global provider of digital map, traffic and location data announce the start of the Samsung Navigation Quest at Mall of the Emirates.

The Samsung Navigation Quest will start with a Roadshow held in Dubai Festival City, Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates. Throughout the month of November, consumers will be able to register for the final treasure hunt activity taking place on 21st November, 2009 in Mall of the Emirates.

Mr. Sandeep Saihgal, general manager of mobile phones at Samsung Gulf Electronics commented: "GPS is becoming increasingly beneficial to our everyday life. By being connected to the Internet or a cellular network, opens up new applications and services to allow the consumer to be in constant touch with families, friends and the world. Through using a GPS, it makes it easier for the consumer to navigate specific locations while being on the move without the need to refer to an actual map."
