Following the opening of the Center, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of HAAD, said:

"The Government is setting world class standards for the providers to meet. This new Healthcare Center is an example of how those standards have been translated into reality by SEHA and Ambulatory Healthcare Services."

Dr. Al Mazrouei extended his thanks to SEHA and AHS for their invaluable contributions to the redevelopment of the Abu Dhabi Health System.

H.E. Al Qubaisi, SEHA Chairman said, "Today SEHA have achieved yet another milestone in its efforts towards providing state-of-the-art healthcare to the community. The opening of this new center signals our continued commitment in providing superior, accessible, affordable and comprehensive health services for our community. It is a continuation of our plan to establish and reposition ambulatory health care services."

Mr. Carl Stanifer, CEO SEHA said, "Our dedication to community healthcare is evident in the wide reach of the SEHA - AHS network of healthcare centers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The opening of Al Muwaiji Healthcare Center is yet another step towards this endeavor, bringing affordable, world-class care for the entire family, closer to the community."

Dr. John Evangelista, Director of Ambulatory Healthcare Services for SEHA said, "Ambulatory Care is 21st century outpatient care meeting the international standards for outpatient services. Largely due to advances in technology, ambulatory care describes a suite of services, many of which were formerly delivered only in hospitals. In medical terms, ambulatory care translates best in Arabic as 'outpatient'. In AHS, we manage and monitor patient care and based upon the individual patient needs, we can move them from this setting to more specialized services in either ambulatory or acute hospital care, or to home or long term care if that is the need."

The Ambulatory Healthcare Services network is fully equipped and staffed with experienced practitioners and doctors to meet key family healthcare requirements. The Al Muwaiji Healthcare Centre houses experienced specialist consultants that offer diagnosis, treatment and consultation.

The Al Muwaiji Healthcare Centre will operate five days a week, Sunday to Thursday, from 8 am to 11 pm as well as the Poly Clinic on Saturdays & public holidays.
