Future Communications launches unique mobile Application for Hajj

Retail VAS Manager in Future Communications Company Madian Mansouer said that: "One of these services is the "Holy Quran" including a complete voice recitation in Ottoman calligraphy and interpretation supported with search within the verse, Sura or the whole Quran, as well as the ability to search for a specific word or part of it using multiple languages interface.

It also includes a service for listening to the Quran as recited by Heikh Al-Hodaifi. Mr. Mansouer said that: "the application as released allows identifying a set of verses to listen to at any given time of choice".

As such, it also comes handy as a tool to memorize the Holy Quran, where users can view the rules of recitation in color, and the user can download audio files of the Quran directly to the mobile phone.

The second application is the "Pilgrimage and Umrah", which can be used by a mobile user as a valuable source of information on the performance of the Hajj and Umrah and includes supplications and invocations, in addition to the most famous places that pilgrims may come by.

The special characteristics of such application is that it contains a "Pilgrimage Calendar" which lists the duties and rituals to be performed in the days of Hajj starting from the eighth to the thirteenth days of the month of Thu al-Hijjah.

Mr. Mansouer commented that: "Future Communications introduced the "Hadith" Application as an easy and convenient way to read the Hadiths of the famous Hadith books such as: Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Riyad Al-Saliheen, and Divine Hadiths, and Forty Nawawi Hadiths, where the search for any word or part of a word in all contents of the application has never been made easier.

He added that:

"Islamic Organizer" is an application that manages time in which the Hijri calendar includes an integrated display of prayer times and Qiblah direction for a thousand cities in over 200 countries. The most important characteristic of this application is that it has the property of adjusting the device settings for silent mode at the time of prayers and resuming previous mode after a suitable period in order to avoid any inconvenience during the prayers. The upgrade of the application can offer further practical functions such as the addition and update of geographical location data of the user to determine precisely the prayer times at current location while updating the Qiblah (Mecca) direction with the positioning system. There is also a property called "Prayer Times."
