Nawras, a Qtel Group company, was the first in the Sultanate to soft launch mobile TV back in January, when customers were able to watch Oman's terrific performance and ultimate victory at the Gulf Cup 19 football tournament. Every customer who enjoyed the complimentary service at that time will already have the necessary phone settings enabling them to immediately start using the new, expanded service. All Nawras customers automatically receive Mobile TV settings as soon as they join this customer friendly communications provider and activate their SIM-card for the first time.

Customers simply require a 3G handset to begin enjoying Mobile TV in any one of the ever increasing areas covered by Nawras 3G+ network. Anyone without the necessary settings simply needs to send an SMS with the keyword TV to 1501 or send a blank SMS to 1501 and then accept the settings they receive in return. After that is simply a matter of choosing the wap portal BawaBaty which leads directly to this exciting new service.

Named best telecom brand as well as Middle East Call Centre of the Year, this award winning operator offers over 60 value added services as part of its pleasingly different mobile experience. All products and services are thoroughly tested before launch and customer feedback is always encouraged to improve its offerings further.
