Boat lovers and their families and friends are cordially invited to attend a display of Bayliner boats at Porto Arabia. The winner of two international design awards, the spectacular marina is the most modern in the Middle East and can berth nearly 800 boats, including the largest mega yachts of 60 meters and larger.

The waterside event begins on Friday afternoon at 5.30pm. All Bayliner boat owners and other water-sports fans are invited to come to Porto Arabia, as this will be the ideal opportunity to see all that Porto Arabia has to offer, including a score of exciting new shops, boutiques and restaurants - along what is one of the longest retail waterside promenades in the world.

Aside from a full range of Bayliners on show at the marina - including the Bayliner Gran Turismo, the Bayliners 185 and 205 Bowriders, as well as the Bayliner 265 and 300 Cruisers - boating fans will find other renown brands displayed on the boardwalk. Included will be Boston Whalers and Meridian yachts, as well the famous semi-rigid and rigid inflatable sports boats known as Zodiacs. All boats on display will also be for sale.

Jaume Marco, general manager of Ronáutica Middle East [RME], a 100% owned subsidiary of the United Development Company, owners and developer of The Pearl-Qatar, said: "Ronáutica Middle East offers a yacht or boat for every type of client and budget, whether it be a small dinghy up to a mega yacht. Bayliner boats are quite popular in Qatar because they are excellent value and easy to handle.

"We at Ronáutica Middle East want to make boat ownership as easy as possible and therefore we can assist you with everything from the financing and insurance, to the outfitting, and the mooring, to the service and maintenance of your boat. Our service team is backed by the vast experience in boat distribution of the Brunswick group."

Ronáutica Middle East provides a range of maritime services that are unmatched in the Middle East. In addition to marina management, RME also provides yacht management and sales, yacht charters, boat maintenance, and concierge services. Other services soon to be offered at Porto Arabia by RME include a sailing school, sight-seeing tours, and SCUBA diving school.

Speaking about Friday's boat exhibit, RME's Sales & Business Development Manager Lennart Bottenberg added: "You do not have to be a millionaire to be a boat owner. For example, a Bayliner Gran Turismo, including wakeboard tower, trailer, boat covers, sunshade and radio MP3 player comes at a price tag of QR 98,000. And it's fun for the whole family.

"Come out to Porto Arabia on Friday afternoon, and see what all the fun is about!" Bottenberg said.
