Wataniya Airways appointed as exclusive carrier for Mawasem Pilgrims

Wataniya Airways, Kuwait's new premium service airline, and Hajj and Umrah Services Company, Mawasem, recently signed an exclusive agreement that permits the carrier to transport pilgrims during Mawasem's upcoming Hajj campaign.

The agreement was signed between Wataniya Airways andHajj and Umrah Services Company 'Mawasem' last week at the airline's headquarters. It was signed in the presence of George Cooper, the airline's Chief Executive Officer, and David Evans, Chief Commercial Officer along with Khaled Al Kandary, Mawasem's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer and Thamer Al Tamimi, Mawasem's Consultant.

Wataniya Airways Chairman & Managing Director Abdulsalam Al Bahar said how honored the airline was to have been chosen as the exclusive carrier for Mawasem's upcoming pilgrimage campaign., adding " this new agreement is a testament to the airline's success since its inauguration earlier this year and represents further progress on the recently launched Jeddah route.

"We are pleased with this new exclusive deal and our ability to provide a wide range of premium services that complement the same high level of services provided by Mawasem. The company has a successful track record in organizing Hajj and Umrah campaigns and an excellent reputation amongst Kuwaitis.

"The types of services provided by Mawasem are aligned with Wataniya Airways' successful offering and its ability to gain the trust of its guests, and we believe that this partnership provides something special for pilgrims this year."

Hajj and Umrah services company "Mawasem", was established recently as a Kuwaiti Shareholding company. The company developed as a result of a strategic partnership between Al Ritaj Investment Company and Al Kandary's Hajj and Umrah Campaign, and aims to provide premium services of an international standard to its guests.
