Magdi Labib, Etihad Airways' Kuwait Country Manager, said:
"These workshops demonstrate a great partnership with our sales partners in the industry. It is an exciting time for us as it reflects the culmination of three years of hard work in Kuwait, extensive planning and a vision for a top class airline that is designed to accommodate the demands of travellers."
The workshops featured a presentation by local Etihad Airways representatives detailing important information that differentiates the airline's top-class offering from that of other commercial carriers flying to and from Kuwait. Throughout the three day event, the Abu Dhabi based airline conducted a raffle draw, where 6 lucky winners won tickets to their preferred destination on Etihad's growing network of international routes.
"Etihad has invested heavily to raise the bar when it comes to luxury air travel, including the exclusive opening of our new premium lounges at the Abu Dhabi, London's Heathrow, and Frankfurt airports and the roll-out of a new in-flight service style, specifically tailored to the needs of our first and business class customers," added Labib.
Recently, Etihad Airways has taken top awards at this year's World Travel Awards (WTA), being voted as the World's Leading Airline by more than 180,000 travel industry professionals from over 175 countries. In addition to picking up the award for Leading First Class for the second year in a row, the airline was recognized for the excellence of its onboard product, luxurious airport lounges and strong service ethic during a period of phenomenal growth.
"As we move into 2010, we intend to cement our place as the world's best airline, opening up new routes, taking delivery of new aircraft, investing in new products in the air and on the ground, and introducing a range of online initiatives to make travelling with Etihad better than ever," concluded Labib.
