The Dubai Airshow has traditionally had a strong UK presence, including from SBAC itself in the past, and this year will be no exception.

ADS is organising the UK pavilion (W128A), which contains 17 organisations, promoting their skills and expertise to a global audience. Other UK global giants exhibiting at Dubai include: BAE Systems, Cobham, Goodrich, Rolls-Royce and Vector Aerospace, and all will be receiving the active support of UK Government agencies UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) and UKTI Defence & Security Organisation (UKTI DSO) on stand W130A.

Ian Godden, Chairman of ADS, said:
"It is an exciting time for the UK's aerospace, defence and security industries. Bringing together three strong trade associations, representing three successful sectors of our economy, will deliver greater benefits, stronger representation and higher-quality events and services to our members than ever before, and I am delighted that ADS will be making its first international airshow appearance in Dubai."

"There are clearly major opportunities for the industries of both Dubai and the UK, and the Dubai Airshow brings together the best of aerospace manufacturing. On the UK pavilion we have prime examples of British engineering talent with 17 UK companies promoting their skills and expertise, eager to do business in one of the major global aerospace hubs. ADS is therefore looking forward to a highly successful show."
