ExxonMobil Egypt renews partnership with GM Egypt and Al Mansour Automotive 'Mansour Chevrolet'

The triple cooperation between these three entities marks a successful partnership model because on the manufacturing side it utilizes first-rate automotive technologies in the Egyptian market through GM Egypt, with the top-quality engine oils for a longer vehicle lifespan from ExxonMobil Egypt along with the sale, distribution, and after-sale services provided by Al Mansour Automotive Group. Success and consistence have been very essential pillars in this partnership, and this is what the three parties have achieved throughout more than 25 years through this peerless synergy.

This successful partnership among (ExxonMobil Egypt, GM Egypt and Al Mansour Automotive) has been attained through maintenance centers at (Mobil - Esso) service stations, which spread across the country to offer after-sale services and maintenance for "Chevrolet and Opel" cars. Cooperation between GM and ExxonMobil Egypt is not limited only to this and extends to technological studies and research in the field of synthetic lubricant manufacturing and development.

A contest providing hundreds of job opportunities

The three entities have worked recently together to provide several job opportunities under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Solidarity; ExxonMobil Egypt together with General Motors Egypt and Mansour Chevrolet, launched a huge contest with grand prizes of 100 Chevrolet T-Series 'Dabbabah' pickup trucks under the slogan 'Mobil Delvac's key to the treasure of 100 trucks'.

The contest beagn on 7th of November and will run until March 2010.

Through this contest, ExxonMobil Egypt provides hundreds of job opportunities for drivers and their assistants out of its belief in the importance of supporting society , facilitating development and opening new investment horizons.

Expansions and developments

The three companies are witnessing massive expansions through this cooperation amongst them. There is continuous expansion in opening maintenance centers accredited by Mansour Chevrolet at ExxonMobil Egypt service stations (Mobil-Esso) to provide the highest levels of maintenance and after-sale services for 'Chevrolet and Opel' cars.

Despite the global financial crisis, GM Egypt has recently made core expansions in production lines, productivity and existence in the Egyptian market, in addtion to providign the latest models that meet Egyptian consumer's needs, through a large distribution network owned by Al Mansour Automotive Group - Mansour Chevrolet.

Since its establishment in 1984, GM Egypt provides all that is new in the automotive industry in passenger and commercial cars. Production levels are increasing year after year maintaining the highest quality levels. Al Mansour Automotive Group is also keen on prioritizing after-sale services.

GM Egypt is keen on recruiting the trained technicians who are specialized in car maintenance in Egypt, therefore, the company established GM Training Center in 6 October City in cooperation with the Egyptian Council for Industrial Training and Al Mansour Automotive Group - Mansour Chevrolet, which will provide 40 job opportunities for the 1st grade of technicians next year in Mansour Chevrolet service centers, in addition to increase the technicians number in the upcoming years, within the framework of GM Egypt eagerness to contribute to increase the technical level of Egyptian youth, through training them on the latest international training systems of car maintenance.
