BT's Bruce Schneier discusses trends in security during visit to Middle East region

Bruce Schneier, chief security officer at BT, is one of the world's leading experts in information security. At a roundtable media briefing held in Dubai, Schneier provided an insight into the many security challenges facing modern businesses in today's world.

Schneier shared the latest trends in security and explained the ways in which BT's customers in the Middle East can identify areas of concern, develop action plans and address risks by using professional services and products from BT's Managed Security range including secure networking, application and identity management security, threat management and virus scanning.

A published author on the issues of security from the small to the large: personal safety, crime, identity theft, corporate security, national security, Schneier always shares security stories that make the news in the Middle East and globally.

Schneier is an internationally renowned security technologist and author and has been described by The Economist as a "security guru". He is best known as a refreshingly candid and lucid security critic and commentator.
