Epson has announced the Middle East launch of the latest additions to the Epson EB-8 Series of entry-level video projectors. The EB-S8, EB-X8 and the EB-W8 offer features like higher brightness levels, enhanced connectivity and vivid image projection. The newest additions have been specifically designed to meet the growing requirements of the region's Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) segment—integrating mobility, convenience and ease of use.
All three projectors are extremely lightweight, compact and easy to set up. Once the unit is connected and switched on, images are projected instantly onto the screen. A Direct Power On /Off feature allows users to use the projector without touching any buttons. All units instantly warm up and cool down upon being switched on and off, giving users the advantage of saving time and energy. The projectors also feature wider connectivity options, allowing a greater number and variety of devices to be connected to the unit.
The EB-S8, which is 30 per cent smaller and 15 per cent lighter than other EB-8 models, comes with a convenient carrying case that allows users to carry the projector easily between rooms and even transported from one office to another. The EB-S8 has been designed to be stylish and ergonomically friendly for simple, intuitive use and also includes a convenient control panel.
The EB-X8 and EB-W8 includes a USB flash drive reader for JPEG picture viewing and HDMI input for the projection of superb quality digital photos and videos.
In line with its commitment to produce environmentally friendly products, the latest additions to the EB-8 series are energy efficient and run at a very low cost. Each unit is equipped with an E-TORL lamp that reduces the amount of power used and has a life span of 5,000 hours when operating in ECO mode.
Khalil El Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East, said, "Epson constantly studies and analyzes the growing trends and requirements presented by different target segments in the Middle East region. As a result, we have noticed an increased demand for efficient, convenient and easy to operate projectors that can be effectively used in venues of all sizes. The latest additions to the Epson EB-8 series provide users with features like optimum brightness, clearly defined images and enhanced connectivity—allowing them to make high quality presentations any time, any place. Moreover, the launch of the EB-S8, EB-X8 and the EB-W8 not only consolidate our leadership in the video projector market but also reaffirm our long standing commitment to provide users with innovative yet eco-friendly products."
