Ford sales fall 44% in UAE

Hussain Murad, Ford's regional sales manager has said that new car sales in 2009 had dropped 20% regionally and 44% in the UAE, Gulf News has reported. Ford sales in Saudi Arabia, however, have climbed by 5%, while the overall market in the country dropped by 7%, he said. Amongst Ford's line up, the Ford Explorer, Ford Edge and the Ford Focus were the most popular, Murad noted.
