Hunter Foods FZCO aims to develop diverse, high-quality client base

The snacks specialist has already developed products for Eppco and Enoc, Cozy Coffee Shops, Cafe Nero and Cafe Armani, outlets that enjoy a diverse and exclusive customer base.

Hunter Foods, the first manufacturing company to choose Jafza as its base, could register an impressive 25 per cent growth in business in the first half of 2009 despite the global economic slowdown. It aims to increase its local and international sales several fold in the coming years through diversification and strategic partnerships.

Established in 1985, Hunter Foods was the first fully foreign-owned project in Jafza. The company's product line includes a range of lentil poppadums, corn poppadums, specialty potato chips, savory potato grills, fried onion rings and Freezo freeze drinks.

Hunter Foods is also the first-ever company in Europe, Africa and Middle East to achieve SQF 2000, a global food safety and quality certification issued by the US-based SQF (Safe Quality Food) Institute.
