- PRESS RELEASE
Embraer hosts its second Middle East Legacy 600 Operators Meeting in Dubai, today, at the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel, United Arab Emirates (UAE). This is an excellent opportunity for strengthening the Company's relationship with its customers in the region. Technical issues and updates for the Legacy 600 will be covered during the meeting, as well as flight operations and maintenance programs, with sessions about Embraer Authorized Service Centers; Material Support, Parts & Logistics; and the Embraer Executive Care (EEC) program.
During the Dubai Airshow, last month, Embraer announced a partnership with CEVA Logistics to offer its executive jet operators a new distribution center in Dubai. Located near Dubai International Airport (DXB), in the Jebel Ali area, the CEVA Logistics facility supplies spare parts to the expanding customer base in the region.
The Legacy 600 jet entered service in 2002, benefited by important qualities of the ERJ 145 regional jet platform, including low fuel consumption, reduced operating costs, ease of maintenance, and outstanding reliability. With more than 170 jets flying in 26 countries, the Legacy 600 is customized to the needs of the executive aviation market, offering a range of up to 3,400 nautical miles, or 6,297 km, top quality interior finishing, three distinct cabin zones, excellent comfort, and global assistance at dedicated executive jet service centers.
