19% increase in sales for Emirates Coop with Eid Al-Adha and National Day promotional campaign

The initiative for the promotional campaign was to offer customers with daily required quality products at very competitive prices. The promotion included commodities like rice, oil, fresh vegetables and fruits, meat, frozen meat and chicken, cheese, sweets, nuts, canned foods and non-food groceries like disposable paper plates, aluminum and plastics, electronics, household articles, etc.

Mr. Farid said that in future Emirates Coop will continue with different promotional campaigns as part of a strategic plan set by the Board of Directors to help the consumers and to serve the society by offering a highly competitive price structure. He also pointed out that the Weekend Fresh Food Promotion will continue as scheduled every Thursday, Friday and Saturday to provide varieties of fresh meat, fruits and vegetables.

"We have also made shopping made easier for our customers residing near Al Twar 3, Al Mizhar 2, Satwa, Garhoud and Saffouh area branches by providing the option of placing there orders through the 800-327 (800ECS) toll-free call center," said Mr. Farid.
