To ensure that its customers in the Middle East are receiving consistent service levels from VERITAS regional partners, VERITAS Middle East is calling on all of its channel members to receive official training and expert-level qualification.
VERITAS resellers in the UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Egypt have eagerly embraced the storage leader's channel campaign, recognizing that VERITAS certification can lead to enhanced market share and increased selling opportunities. Recent training sessions held on the VERITAS Foundation Suite™, VERITAS Data Protection solutions, and VERITAS High Availability solutions drew engineers and consultants from such regional partners as ACS, ECS, Elite, Emirates Computers, MDS, Pro Technology, SoftFlow, and STME.
"Earning VERITAS certification enables Middle East-based channel partners to demonstrate tangibly their expertise to end-users, giving those partners real competitive advantage in the increasingly congested regional storage market," stated Mike Hynes, regional manager of VERITAS Middle East.
"A greater number of certified channel partners also increases the comfort factor for VERITAS customers in the region, who can expect a consistent, professional level of service when implementing a VERITAS-based storage management strategy," Hynes added.
VERITAS Middle East has witnessed a surge in channel activity, including over subscription to its training courses, since it launched the revamped VERITAS Partner Program almost six months ago. Regional partners have received new VERITAS solutions now available in the Middle East market, such as VERITAS Backup Exec™ 9.0, with unprecedented interest.
