Students from various private and government institutions as well as national jobseekers have been inundating the stalls while exhibitors have been on their toes in an effort to respond to their queries, conduct on site interviews and promote their corporate image.

'The success of this show depends on bringing a distinguished audience of participating exhibitors from the public and private sectors, banks, multinationals, IT, media and other sectors into contact with qualified students as well as professionals seeking a career change and this is the very cause to which we remain committed,' said DWTC Director General, Mubarak bin Fahad.

He noted that the DWTC had arranged extensive advertising and PR campaigns to raise the profile of the event, stepped-up co-operation between the public and private sector and taken all possible steps through to the smallest detail by providing admirable standards of service for employers, job seekers and students.

'Careers this year will set higher standards for national recruitment and offer increased client and job seeker satisfaction,' Mr. bin Fahad observed.

There is a wide choice for visitors to the fair with 117 companies, including banks, multinationals, IT and media companies, semi-government and government institutions all present at the fair in order to tap in to the burgeoning pool of Emirati talent available.

This across-the-board participation from all sectors has made Careers the largest dedicated forum in the UAE that offers a unique platform by bringing together highly skilled and trained nationals, both jobseekers and qualified professionals alike, and prospective employers on the lookout for gifted and professionally trained staff.

Careers UAE 2003 which is organized in conjunction with the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), The National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority (TANMIA) and Zayed University, will run till April 23.
