The 1st Middle East Procure to Pay (P2P) Forum which will be held from 21 - 24 February 2010 at the Media Rotana Hotel - Barsha, Dubai will play host to renowned and insightful procurement and finance experts from organisations including DP World, ADNH Compass Group, Jumeirah, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), Agility, Petroleum Development Oman, Zayed University, Dubai Municipality, The Dow Chemical Company and MARS GCC.

Over 15 distinguished P2P experts from countries including the UAE, Ireland, China, Oman, and the UK will discuss evolving issues and challenges in effectively streamlining internal automation systems to minimise company costs, increase efficiencies, and modernise processes.

Topics that will be discussed include: understanding how to gain company buy in to build an effective P2P infrastructure, transforming business models and investing in P2P optimisation in recessionary times, managing business critical information and improving P2P process excellence, improving supplier relationships and benefiting from cost-efficiencies, sustaining change management processes, and identifying and sourcing the most applicable technology, focusing on resources and the best ROI.

Dr Graham Smith, Forum Speaker and Workshop Facilitator for The 1st Middle East Procure to Pay (P2P) Forum and ERP Manager, ADNH Compass Group, UAE, says:
"It is now vital for companies to gain senior management buy in and achieve the necessary approvals to build effective and modern P2P infrastructures to drive efficiencies and reduce overall costs in these recessionary times. Procurement and finance professionals have to communicate the role P2P plays in an increasing global market and demonstrate how P2P infrastructure contributes to total business development and not just only cost reduction."
