Mr. Juju added:
"this show is not only a boating and yachting exhibition, but it is a more strategic to the economy. We have witnessed visitors from several social and professional clusters including trade sports, real estate, tourism and others. This is an indicator that a boating community in Abu Dhabi triggers interest of various sectors thus contributing in the development. This show is promoting the capital Abu Dhabi as a yachting destination especially that the city is committed to developing the biggest number of berth marine's in the world."
Mr. Juju called upon the concerned authorities to set flexible rules and regulations to navigate: "In the next 10 years the city will have more than 30,000 berth marines which will eventually harbour 60,000 boats. Water front projects are developing and increasing in the city and big examples are Al Reem Island, Yas Island, Al Dana Island, Saadiyat Islands and others. Projects are not enough to create a boating lifestyle since it still needs financing, service centres and flexible rules and regulations to not limit navigation."
Mr. Juju concluded: "Abu Dhabi is a gateway to the region with all the set projects. Several opportunities are out there especially marine tourism were people can sail into the city using their boats or yachts instead of flying or driving to one of the richest cities in the world. This show is a step towards encouraging and enhancing the process of developing rules to help build a boating community."
