Second edition Emirates Boat Show 2009 folds this year show with huge success

The Emirates Boat Show 2009 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) closed its 2nd edition registering another success in 2009. The four day exhibition showcased more than 100 luxury boats and several aspects of the marine lifestyle from a 150 leading brands represented by exhibitors from 20 countries.

Wael Juju, Chief Executive Officer- Knotika Holding, organisers of the boat show, said:
"The show generated huge interest from boat and yachting enthusiasts. We have also noticed this year that the show attracted big names in the UAE especially the visit of His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Minister of Interior and number of sports and governmental celebrities. This is an indicator that the show has achieved its target audience by attracting decision makers and people with influence on the society."


Mr. Juju concluded that the 2nd edition of the show managed to set the basic steps on the way to creating a boating society in Abu Dhabi that contributes to the huge development the emirate is witnessing in waterfront projects and attracting more and more investments to the marine industry.

The exhibition will take place from December 9th to December 12th, 2009 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Doors will be open for visitors from 4 pm till 10 pm during the 5 day exhibition to view Luxury Yachts and Cruisers, Sailing Boats, Houseboats, Marinas, DIVING, Fishing, Sport Boats, Navigational Equipment, Charter Boats, Boats accessories, Boat interiors, Kayaks, Jet Skis, Luxury Taxi boat and other related items.

Major Exhibitor include Art Marine, Sunseeker ME, IMG, Gulf Craft, Leisure Marine, Al Masaood, Al Halami, Emocean Marine, Al Marakeb, Ghantoot Marina and others. Also major Brand from all over the world include Riva, Azimut, Majesty, Numarine, Benetti, Atlantis, Princess, Rizardi, Doral, Larson, Hatteras Riviera, Outerlimit, Princess, Sunseeker.

The show is sponsored by Premier Motors Premier Motors, a subsidiary of Al Tayer Motors - the UAE's premier automobile dealership - and represents Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Land Rover, Jaguar, Ferrari, Maserati and Spyker cars in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The company's automotive portfolio also includes DAF Trucks.

Premier Motors displayed some of the latest cars from the Maserati Quattroporte and GranTurismo range at EBSI 2009. These include the Quattroporte S, Quattroporte Sport GTS, GranTurismo S and GranTurismo S with MC Sport Line package.
