The Palm(TM) Zire 71 handheld, with a built-in digital camera, offers users the ability to spontaneously capture life's precious moments. There are two additions to the Tungsten range, including the Tungsten C handheld, Palm's most powerful handheld with built-in high-speed wireless connectivity, and the Tungsten W handheld, the first Palm branded integrated triband GSM /GPRS wireless handheld. Both Tungsten products are designed for professionals on the move all day.

'What a mother or a student wants from a handheld is different from what an IT manager or a road warrior expects, and we're serious about delivering what matters most to both groups,' said Stuart Maughan, country manager, Palm MEA. 'We believe that the Tungsten C and Tungsten W handhelds provide two powerful solutions for mobile professionals and business forces alike and that the Zire 71 handheld will be an affordable option for individuals who want to organise their busy lives and have multimedia functionality.'

The three new Palm products encapsulate the latest in technology and design, which Palm believes has lifted the benchmark for handheld products around the Middle East. Palm has already seen an increase in sales after the recent launches of Zire and Tungsten T models in the region, Palm is now expecting sales to increase further this summer with the launch of these new models. With Palm's dedication to exceeding its customers' expectations and requirements, Palm plans to remain the region's market leader.
