Starlink first retailer in Qatar to sell new Blackberry Bold 9700

Starlink, one of the newest and most innovative communications & media retail businesses in the Middle East, is the first retailer to offer customers in Qatar (and most of the Middle East) the chance to buy the latest and sleekest new Blackberry smartphone, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 otherwise known as the 'Bold2'.

Available from today, Starlink is selling the brand new, highly anticipated Blackberry in all its outlets across Doha.

In what is yet another first to the local market for Starlink, the introduction of this, the hottest smartphone to hit the shelves, puts the pioneering retailer at the forefront of technology and communications distribution in Qatar.

The brand new Blackberry Bold 9700 is beautifully and uniquely designed whilst at the same time offering an impressive variety of communications services and multimedia features. Compact and highly efficient, the newest handset in the Blackberry smartphone range is not only another of the popular manufacturer's products to support 3G mode, offer GPS and utilise Wi-Fi but is also smaller and lighter than its predecessor.

The screen of the latest version offers more clarity with an increase in the resolution to forty pixels. In addition, in contrast to other Blackberry handsets which use a trackball, the Blackberry Bold 9700 offers an optical trackpad. It runs the new BlackBerry OS 5.0, which promises a better Web browser than previous versions and takes better pictures than previous types offering users a 3.2 megapixel camera.

Commenting on the latest 'first' for Starlink, the company's CEO Alan Sinfield said: "We are delighted to be able to sell the newest Blackberry smartphone here in Qatar and are proud to be the first retailer to do so. It is important to us to ensure that all our customers have access to the latest mobile technology as soon as it is launched."

Sinfield continued:

"Bringing the Blackberry Bold 9700 to market before any of our competitors is just another example of how we go the extra mile to fulfill the needs of our local clientele. The newest handset in the Blackberry range is super stylish, sleek, lightweight and compact whilst, at the same time, offering all the most up to date communications and multimedia features."

Those customers desperate to get their hands on the latest Blackberry smartphone should visit their local Starlink shop in any of the following locations: Royal Plaza, City Centre, The Mall, Nasr Street, Muntazah Society, Souk Al-Attiya, Al Wakra and Villaggio. Starlink provides full 1-Year main dealer warranty support for these devices.
