Hertz drives on in Middle East to boost car rental services and expand regional network

Hertz, the world's largest car rental company, will continue to expand its car rental services across the Middle East in a drive to maintain its lead position in the regional market and boost customer services and benefits.
"We remain committed to providing the best and most innovative car rental services in the Middle East," said John Andrews, Director, Associations, GSA and Middle East.
"We've made great progress over the last three years by increasing awareness of Hertz car rental and leasing services, and at the same time increasing confidence in these services. We aim to make sure this continues, by catering to the diverse needs of the inter-Middle East business and leisure traveller."
Hertz is represented in the Middle East by franchise operations in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the UAE and Yemen and by general sales agents in Saudi and Bahrain.
Hertz franchises across the Middle East are regularly expanding and upgrading their rental fleets while providing superior service at competitive prices.
In recent months, Hertz Bahrain has introduced a variety of new models, including the latest model Toyota Camry, Corolla, Rav4; Mazda 6 and Ford Crown Victoria.
Hertz Kuwait has added top-class executive vehicles such as the Saab 9-3 and 9-5, as well as the Mercedes E240, while also extending its range of four wheel drives to include the GMC Yukon, Hyundai Santa Fe and Mitsubishi Pajero.
Hertz Qatar has recently introduced its customers to the latest Chrysler Concorde, Peugeot 206 and 307, and off-road vehicles such as the Ford Explorer and Ford Expedition.
With 600 new vehicles now gracing its car rental fleet, Hertz UAE offers a one of the widest choices of vehicles in the region, including the Chrysler Voyager, Jeep Cherokee Sport, and for the stylish and sophisticated driver, the Lexus Sedan and Chrysler Concorde.
Meanwhile, Hertz UAE has opened new branches in Dubai and Sharjah, and now operates 12 car rental branches across the emirates.
