Maktoob.com, the leading online Arab community in the world with more than 1.7 million registered members, announced that it had successfully integrated its services to meet the growing demand for its sophisticated community and communication tools.
According to the new system, all community and communication facilities are available through one login to the email. At the same time, members can customise the appearance of the Maktoob.com website through a variety of attractive skins and colour schemes.
Toukan stated that the development had already received an incredible response from users, with Maktoob.com's membership climbing to 1.7 million this month. "The introduction of this facility is in line with our efforts to allow more empowerment to our users," he explained. "As we enter the fourth year of our existence, it is appropriate that we celebrate our success by presenting as many simple and interactive features as possible to keep Maktoob.com popular with the online community."
Toukan added that the move would also allow Maktoob.com to understand and accurately categorise the profiles of the members, thus allowing advertisers to target their market more effectively.
He also said that Maktoob.com would soon enhance the system by adding many more communications, entertainment and information features. "Research is currently underway to introduce many useful innovative communications tools for Maktoob.com members," he pointed out.
