Training professionals of interested companies came together on 22nd April 2003 at the Emirates Aviation College to hear how their management could benefit from joining with their peers in the consortium.
In an agreement with Kepner-Tregoe, Emirates will be the exclusive provider of the programmes within the UAE. Companies from the GCC states, Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan are also invited to join the consortium
Abdul Aziz Al Ali, Emirates' Director of Human Resources, said: 'We strongly believe in the benefits of Kepner-Tregoe courses and have been running them for the past five years. Its Problem Solving and Decision Making programme within Emirates has been attended by over 300 managers.
'We know by speaking to our colleagues in the training field that they are looking for programmes such as these. Our consortium will enable other companies to train their management to this level.'
The Kepner-Tregoe Problem Solving and Decision Making programme is recognised around the world as one of the most practical and useful executive training courses of its kind and well over a million people worldwide have participated in it in the last 45 years.
Emirates plans to introduce the first Kepner-Tregoe Problem Solving and Decision Making programme for the consortium within the next two months. Held at the new Emirates Aviation College in Dubai, the thee-day programmes will continue to run every month throughout the year.
Kepner-Tregoe is an internationally recognised management consulting and training company specialising in the areas of skill development, operational improvement, strategy formulation and implementation.
