EIM to highlight new products at Arabian Travel Market Expo 2003

Emirates Internet and Multimedia, Etisalat's ISP business unit, is to showcase a range of new and existing Internet products for the international travel and hospitality industry at this year's Arabian Travel Market, running from May 6th-9th at the Airport Expo, Dubai.

Among the many products will be the much-awaited wireless hotspots. Expected to be launched near the end of 2003, hotspots allow users to log on to the net via a wireless connection at public locations, including hotels and conference suits.

'The travel and hospitality sector in the U.A.E is hugely important to us,' commented Maroua Naim, General Manager, EIM. 'Over recent years we have launched a number of products that are targeted specifically at this market. The ATM is a time of the year where we have the opportunity to highlight the critical importance of technology in helping the country retain its reputation as an international business and tourist hub.'

In addition to the hotspots on show, EIM will also be demonstrating their complete portfolio of products for the industry. These include pre-paid and dial 'n' surf services for access without a subscription, and EIM's range of e-mail, web hosting and co-location packages that allow EIM to manage hotels' web sites and online presence. Full descriptions of the BusinessOne and leased line access packages will also be available.
