Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has affirmed its 'AAA' long-term and 'A-1+' short-term credit ratings on the Saudi Arabia-based Islamic Development Bank (ISDB), with "Stable" outlook. 'The ratings on the Islamic Development Bank are supported by its very strong capitalization, strong liquidity, a good asset portfolio, and expected continued preferred-creditor treatment and other support from shareholders,' the credit agency said.
