The 21st Jewellery Arabia 2012 kicks off

This most-admired international exhibition will showcase world famous names and masterpieces from across the globe with more than 550 local and international exhibitors from 30 nations including national pavilions from Hong Kong, India, Brazil, Malaysia and Indonesia along with Bahrain's very own jewelers who will display the best of their local craftsmanship and talent.

This year's series of this dazzling event which covers an area of around 17,000 sq.m. will run from 16th to 20th October 2012.

Jewellery Arabia, since in inception in 1992, has firmly established itself as the largest and most prestigious jewellery and watch event in the Middle East. It is expected to attract over 50,000 visitors from various nationalities from inside and outside Bahrain.

Dr. Hassan Abdullah Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Chairman of the Board of Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority, praised and expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness the Prime Minister for his continuous support for this exhibition and wish all participants and exhibitors every success and visitors from other countries a pleasant stay.

Jewellery Arabia has special significance to Bahrain which has been a destination for traders and craftsmen from surrounding countries for thousands of years due to its illustrious pearling heritage and strategic location.
