Dubai Bank Credit Card offers 365 day cover against loss, theft or damage on all purchases

Dubai Bank has become the first bank in the region to offer purchase protection for one year to its credit card holders.

This entitles them to insurance for one year against theft, loss and damage on goods bought with their Dubai Bank Credit Card, from the UAE or anywhere in the world.

Commenting on the scheme, Mr. Ricky Madan, Vice President, Dubai Bank said: 'Dubai Bank offers a suite of comprehensive products and services and the credit card contains the best ever collection of benefits on offer to cardholders in the UAE. The Dubai Bank Card should clearly be the first choice for making purchases, as it offers real value.'

The purchase protection plan works as a warranty for any item bought using the Dubai Bank credit card and is covered for one year from the date of purchase. The Protection Plan shields against loss, theft and accidental damage to the tune of AED 12,000 for silver and AED 40,000 for gold cardholders respectively.

The purchase protection plan is just one feature of the credit card that gives the bank's customers convenience, security and added peace of mind. Dubai Bank also offers the Easy Purchase Plan, which allows customers to make on the spot purchases with repayments in convenient, low interest instalments for up to 24 months.

Other services include a complimentary E-Gate card; free life insurance, free household insurance and convenient loan-over-the-phone facilities. In addition, it is a fully-fledged credit card providing all the convenience, flexibility and safety that are associated with credit card use.

The Dubai Bank Credit Card is available in Gold and Silver variants with an annual fee of AED 350 for Gold and AED 150 for Silver.
