Two Awards, namely "Best Paper" and "Best Student Paper" will be presented at this event that will feature a total of 58 technical papers.
"This is the first time that such an event is held within the Middle East and the intention of the IEEE Sections in the Gulf is to organize it on a yearly basis" said Jaafar Al Ibrahim, Secretary, IEEE Saudi Arabia section. "The conference is set to offer attendees a unique perspective on the future shape of applications of various technologies in the computing, electrical & electronics industries and will serve as a platform for promoting world wide standards in the Middle East", he added.
This conference is technically co-sponsored by IEEE, the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers. Dedicated to advancing the theory and application of Electrical engineering, electronics and computing, IEEE is a non-profit association, a leading authority in technical areas and engages in standards developing, technical publishing and conferences.

The "Electrical & Electronics" exhibition will run along side the conference.
