Aspidex Technologies brings Internet banking expertise to the region's financial sector

A 15 member Aspidex team attended an intensive three-month training course at the Corillian training centre in the United Kingdom. The course - conducted by Corillian International, the global provider of eFinance enabling software - was designed to provide Aspidex's members with the skills and expertise needed to provide excellent levels of technical support services and solutions to the growing Internet banking sector.

World-Class Training Program
The Corillian training course focused on three main areas: Project Management, User Interface (UI), and Host Interface (HI). With the Project Management course Aspidex Consultancy team acquired needed skills for total projects implementation, starting from the cycle phase to the production release phase, including reporting and project management tools. The UI course provided Aspidex team with the experience needed to understand the User Interface Foundation framework, which enables them to transform different user interfaces, such as XML to HTML, and vice versa. The HI course enables Aspidex team to write host scripts in order to interact with the data hosting centre by means of sending and receiving transactions.

State-of-the-art IT Skills
To provide banks with the expertise required for the implementation of Internet banking applications, Aspidex team members have attended Corillian training courses and have gained a diversity of essential and above-industry-standard skills in online banking, such as Microsoft.NET ("dotnet") strategy and mastery of HTML, XML, and XSLT languages. In addition, the Aspidex team has enhanced understanding of various programming languages, including JavaScript and Visual Basic, as well as knowledge of toolset and debugging skills.

To empower banks and financial institutions in the Middle East with the best available online banking technology, the Aspidex team developed mastery over a diversity of Corillian's leading Internet banking software applications.
