Nokia UAE Warranty Hotline goes live
- United Arab Emirates: Monday, January 25 - 2010 at 13:12
- PRESS RELEASE
Nokia announced that it has launched the Nokia Warranty Hotline in the UAE. This new telephone hotline provides customers with the chance to contact Nokia directly for any warranty related queries on devices or accessories pre or post purchase.
All Nokia hotline agents are highly trained to provide consumers with detailed warranty information on their Nokia devices. The new hotline agents will assist callers with instant warranty verification by the customer giving the unique IMEI code of the device. The code will be cross checked to see if the device was sold at an authorised retailer and is still covered under the warranty. If so; the hotline agent will confirm warranty coverage and suggest the most convenient Nokia Care Centre location for the customer to drop his device off at for repair.
"As part of the growth of our business in the Middle East, we have been investing in the care service and increasing its resources to better serve our consumers. The introduction of the Nokia Warranty Hotline is our most recent step to ensure our customers receive the best service we can offer. Providing a means for them to contact us directly not only allows us to be more in tune with their needs but also provides them with an enhanced sense of confidence when buying any Nokia product. The UAE is a leading market in the region and we are proud to implement this project in such a key place", said Najib Abi-Abdallah, Head of Care, Nokia, Lower Gulf.
The addition of this new service comes as part of Nokia's overall focus on customer service. Nokia had recently opened a number of dedicated Nokia Care Centers across the UAE to get closer to consumers and provide them with specialized after-sale services exclusive to Nokia consumers.
