Creative Edge Int. celebrates partnership with Saudi TV

Creative Edge Int. presented an overview of the latest developments made to the Saudi state run TV channels (STVs) during an event held lately at The Address Hotel in Dubai.

The event follows an agreement between the Saudi Minister of Culture and Information and Creative Edge Int. in which Creative Edge Int. was declared the sole representative and developer of STVs

Mr Saleh Al-mugaileith, Deputy Minister in charge of TV affairs said: "The Saudi Minister of Culture and Information strives to attract qualified media professionals to support the overall strategy in developing the Saudi based TV channels".

"The Saudi Ministry of Culture and Information signed a three years agreement with Creative Edge Int. to undertake development of Saudi TV channels". Al-mugaileith added

Mr Asaad Abu Aljadaiel, CEO, Creative Edge Int. said:

"The company is committed to focus all its capabilities and efforts on serving the Ministry of Culture and Information. One of the main areas in which we will provide support is the renovation of both the existing and newly launched satellite TV channels. Each channel will be treated with utmost care and individuality."


The partnership celebrations that sprung from Dubai and organized by Creative Edge Int. comes in the framework of strengthening relations between the two parties from one side and strengthening relations between advertisers and viewers from another.

During the event, Creative Edge Int. highlighted its strategy to develop a state of the art satellite Package that caters all family members. Creative Edge Int. has also introduced new channel look and feel including improved channel identity, improved channels logos, new programs and improved set designs.

Programs introduced included Sbaha AL Soudia (Saudi Morning show), Al Mammlakah Hatha Al Massaa(The Kingdom Tonight) and Hadeeth AL Yasamine (Jasmine Talk)

Abu Aljadaiel pointed out that the ministry recently initiated its "Employee Development Training Program". Ministry employees were subjected to intense training programs each in his or hers specialized field, which created a solid foundation of talented professional youth.

Abu Aljadaiel added that the ministry made the training program standard for all its employees at this current phase of the renovation and development project to reach the highest level of professionalism in all its departments and channels.

The Saudi Ministry established three new studios to enhance the operation for the recently launched 5 new state run TV channels, the new studios were equipped with the state of the art technology and set on global market standards. The new studios will serve Saudi Channel One, Saudi Sports Channel, Ekhbariya News Channel and Ajyal - a newly launched educational children's channel which aspires to become the custodian of tomorrow's generations

With the contribution of professional experts and tremendous effort by the Ministry, within a record time, the ministry managed to develop the Saudi sports channel to the highest of international standards. The channel has undergone a face lift to go in harmony with the new developments made

Media in the kingdom extends to 88 years, with the opening of the first newspaper Um Al-Qura in 1343 AH during the era of the kingdoms founder King Abdul Aziz. In 1355 AH a hajj and advertising committee under the ministry of finance was established. Thirteen years later Saudi Radio was established under what was then called General Administration for Journalism and Publishing. In 1382 AH the Ministry of Culture and Information was established to supervise over all media outlets.
