Fax Server Connector for Microsoft Exchange allows users of Exchange Server 2010 and earlier versions to send receive and organize fax documents conveniently from Microsoft Outlook. With Fax Server Connector, end users can organize, forward, and respond to faxes in the same manner as email messages. Plus, Fax Server Connector can support multiple Fax Servers with a single Exchange Server, conserving valuable IT resources.
Open Text will sell and support Fax Server Connector for Microsoft Exchange 2010 in Middle East through SquareOne Technologies. "The regions adoption of Exchange as a mail platform is pretty high and this new connector would help customers progress towards a unified messaging system," says Ghassan Surkhi, Director - Sales, SquareOne Technologies.
The Open Text line of fax server and document capture solutions, offered as part of the Open Text ECM Suite, allows customers to convert documents arriving by fax or mail to electronic form, so they can be managed online. Customers can use Open Text solutions, for example, to automate the process of inputting information from thousands of paper invoices, and eliminate the inevitable errors involved when paper-based data has to be entered by hand. The solutions work with Open Text's portfolio of ECM products that manage ERP-related content from SAP and Oracle systems.
