Armani Hotel's fit out contractor confirms as speaker at Concepts Middle East 2010 congress

Reputable businessman and founder of interior finishing contractor Fino International, Talal Saeed, has confirmed as a speaker at Concepts Middle East 2010, the Middle East interior design sector's most prestigious event.

The Concepts Middle East 2010 congress - produced by business information company Naseba - is taking place from February 23rd to 24th 2010 at the Le Cigale Hotel in Doha, Qatar and will see Saeed, the man behind the fit-out of the first Armani Hotel in the Middle East, doing a case study presentation on the Armani Hotel in Dubai, UAE.

Speaking about the congress, Saeed said, "It's a great privilege to be attending the Concept Middle East Congress 2010. I look forward to sharing my experiences working on this top-end project. The specification in the job is one of the highest I have ever seen and experienced; it was a most enlightening experience due to the fact there are so many consultants supervising and reporting to each other to make sure that everything is coherent and works perfectly together. I am pleased to be presenting at the Concepts Middle East."

Saeed, who has agreed to divulge his experiences working with acclaimed fashion designer Giorgio Armani, will present a case study on the Armani Hotel Dubai, revealing the inspiration behind the design details, trends, materials used and the savvy design team that worked together to make it perfect.

Saeed said, "Considering the world is still recovering from the impact of the economic crisis, I think it will also be apt to discuss the effect the slowdown had on the interior design industry, and in reference to the Armani."

His company, Fino International, has been actively involved in several of the UAE's biggest projects including the Armani Hotel and Residence, the Burj Khalifa tower, The Address at Dubai Mall, The Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina Mall, Zabeel Park Stargate and Dubai Metro.

Concepts Middle East 2010 is the region's leading interior design congress strategically designed for time-restricted interior design professionals to network, establish new contacts, discuss and debate the future of the sector and - most importantly - do business. The congress features strategic business-focused one-to-one meetings, panel discussions, case studies and keynote presentations as well as five-star networking opportunities.

According to media reports, the total spending on interior projects in all GCC countries this year was estimated to be $47.1bn, with industry experts predicting this to rise to $56.9bn in 2010. Official figures show that imports of furniture and interior products to the Gulf region are rising at a significant rate, with the Middle East interiors market now almost on par with well-established markets such as Europe, the United States and Japan.
