BUIDRE to introduce 'Education in Dental Specialties' program at AEEDC Dubai 2010

The first institute, of its kind in the region, BUIDRE-Dubai offers specialty educational programs in endodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry and periodontology. The programs offered at BUIDRE-Dubai will combine the appropriate mix of clinical experience and a strong academic component, with adequate emphasis on original research. Successful completion of the program will earn residents a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in the specialty as well as a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree.

BUIDRE-Dubai also announced it will showcase all its programs at the UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition - AEEDC Dubai 2010, the leading dental event in the Middle East that is organised under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance, and President of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

AEEDC Dubai 2010 will be held from 9-11 March at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Interior-Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department.

Faculty members at BUIDRE-Dubai are highly specialized with various areas of expertise and have undergone extensive training all are American Board Certified. The curriculum at the Dubai institute is comparable to the programs offered at Boston University in the US.

AEEDC-Dubai 2010 is supported by the FDI World Dental Federation, Arab-Asian Scientific Dental Alliance, Arab Dental Federation, Executive Board of the Health Ministers Council for Gulf Cooperation Council States, GCC Oral Health Committee, Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy, Indian Orthodontic Society and Dental Horizons. Scientific support to the event will be provided by the International Association for Orthodontics, Academy of General Dentistry, and the German Society of Oral Implantology.

BUIDRE-Dubai organizes continuing education courses for general dentists and dental specialists who seek to learn about the latest materials and techniques for diagnosis and treatment of dental disease. The Institute also holds a variety of awareness programs to educate members of the community on the importance of oral and dental health.
