Direct business deals at AEEDC Dubai exceeds $1bn

The UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai) concluded its three days scientific activities and dental exhibition today at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Conference included a variety of high quality scientific activities covering all dental specialties.
Mr. Abdul Salam AL Madani, Executive Chairman of AEEDC Dubai and President of Index Holding, said, "AEEDC Dubai proved itself to be the second largest event specialised in oral health and dentistry in the world, for the number of international pavilions covered all continents. International pavilions that were present were from Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Russia, Sweden, Italy, Denmark, China, Korea, Japan, Australia, The United States, The United Kingdom, Pakistan, Iran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and The United Arab Emirates."
Mr. Al Madani said, "Index strategic plan for AEEDC Dubai aims to make the event number one in the world by 2020, following the steps of His Highness Sheik Mohammed Bin Rashid AL Maktoum, Vice President of UAE, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai, to be the first always in all the events."
Mr. Al Madani was very pleased about the big success achieved by AEEDC this year and said, "This prestigious event provides the premier platform for the ever growing and robust City of Dubai to showcase the rich and traditional Arabian culture to global audiences and concurrently, reinforce business and education through international events like WFLD Congress and AEEDC."
Al Madani also announced that the number of Dentists and participants for this year had reached more than 25,000 from 120 countries, and the business deals reached up to $1bn during the past three days. He also mentioned that majority of exhibitor's increased their exhibit space for next year.
VIPS from the UAE had expressed their admiration for the success of this event and how the return as investment for the UAE and the positive image it provided was excellent.
Dr. Tariq Khoory, Director of Dubai Dental Centre at Dubai Health Authority and Honorary Chairman of AEEDC Dubai, announced the recommendations for this year conference which includes; developing a memorandum of understanding to the Health ministries in the GCC countries which states the strategic plan for decreasing the number of dental caries cases among children in the GCC countries, and enhance the continuous education program for dentist in this region.
Dr. Tariq also added, "We are delighted that AEEDC this year achieved its goals, and our preparations are at full swing from this moment on to hold a more ostensive scientific conference next year, with additional new scientific topics."
In addition, Dr. Roberto Vianna, President of the World Dental Federation (FDI) said, "Dubai managed to impose itself as a strong competitor in holding high profile conferences and exhibitions in a very short period of time. Dubai Possess the perfect structures and facilities to present the best international conferences and exhibitions."
He also mentioned that Index Conferences and Exhibitions Organisation Est. is achieving great success in this regard.
Mr. Nijm Ostgen Sales Manager of CS Middle East, a German company for manufacturing mobile dental Clinique's "the amount of business deals that we sealed during the three days exhibition reached Dhs20m. We sold more than 13 mobile Clinique, fully equipped with all dental tools and techniques."
He also mentioned that CS Middle East doubled the space for next year, and are expecting a huge return from this exhibition, and this has been our best year ever.
