- PRESS RELEASE
Emocean Marine, a leading Abu Dhabi-based boat manufacturer, launched its latest masterpiece, the Charm 27, at the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) 2010.
"The Charm 27 has all the features of a yacht, but which are unique to the size of this boat. It is a pocket-sized yacht, a first of its kind marine product in the region that was proudly conceptualized and built in the UAE," said Hamad Kassab Bachi, CEO of Emocean Marine.
Some of the unique features absent on other boats of the same size include the world's smallest marine generator, a powerful marine air conditioner, the latest in electronic drive systems and Italian style interiors combined with American style practicality.
Bachi explained that when developing the idea for the 'pocket yacht' Emocean's design team looked at families, their needs and aspirations out on the water, as their primary target audience.
"Our creative and design process for the Charm 27 started a few months back and was inspired by the constant feedback we attain from experienced boat owners," continued Bachi. "This knowledge illuminated a definite market niche for us which is to cater for families by presenting them with a product that boasts high levels of comfort and aesthetic beauty, while at the same time keeping it affordable."
Emocean Marine is also extending its technical services to other boat builders locally and internationally.
"Some of these companies are our competitors! But we believe that growing the UAE's yachting industry together and competing globally as UAE manufacturers will benefit us all in the long run," Bachi concluded.
